Day 1: Canada - Malaga (Spain)
International flight with Air Canada (or similar).
Day 2: Marbella
Arrival and transfer to you hotel in Marbella. Day at leisure.
Day 3: Marbella - Granada
After Breakfast, Departure to Granada where you will ha a guided visit of the impressive Alhambra Palace with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and Generalife gardens. Dinner and accommodations. In the evening you will have an optional excursion ($) to the caves of Sacromonte where you will attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.
Day 3: Granada - Toledo - Madrid
Breakfast and departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, This ancient city is set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain. Toledo is known for the medieval Arab, Jewish and Christian monuments in its walled old city. In the afternoon, continuation to Madrid. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 4: Madrid
After breakfast, Morning city sightseeing tour visiting some of Madrid’s most outstanding attractions. The oldest quarter with its densely built streets. The Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens and “Campo del Moro”, the Alcalá Gate, Paseo del Prado and famous Cibeles and Neptuno fountains. The newer quarters, with their orderly street layout such as the “Gran Via” and the “Paseo de la Castellana”. Afternoon at leisure to discover the bustling streets of the old city, followed by Madrid’s Town Hall in Plaza de la Villa and the old quarter and its cosy streets.
Day 5: Madrid - Caceres - Sevilla
Breakfast. Departure towards the region of Extremadura and arrival to Caceres. Time at leisure to discover its Plaza Mayor and walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and considered as a World Heritage place. Continuation southwards to Andalucia and arrival to Sevilla. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6: Sevilla
Breakfast. Departure for your morning city tour, visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz area with its narrow streets, the Park of María Luisa and the famous Plaza de España. After lunch, you can purchase an optional ($) Artistic tour including the visit of the Royal Alcazar Palace. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at hotel.
Day 7: Sevilla - Cordoba
After breakfast, departure to Cordoba. Upon arrival, you will start a walking tour of Cordoba at the Almodovar Gate, passing through the Jewish Quarter and continuing your visit to the famous “Mezquita” (Mosque/Cathedral) dating from 784 A.D, featuring a columned prayer hall and older Byzantine mosaics. After it became a Catholic church in 1236, a Renaissance-style nave was added in the 17th century. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 8: Cordoba - Ronda - Torremolinos
Breakfast. Departure to the Route of White Villages. Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain’s Malaga province in Andalusia that’s set dramatically above a deep gorge. This gorge (El Tajo) separates the city’s circa-15th-century new town from its old town. Time at leisure. Continuation to Marbella where you will change busses for your transfer to Torremolinos. Arrival to your hotel in Torremolinos for your 4 night stay including 3 meals per day.
Day 9 to 12: Torremolinos
Breakfast. Time at leisure to discover a surprising paradise, some of the best beaches in Spain and a cultural and leisure offering to suit all tastes. Visit its charming white towns and villages, and its natural surroundings and gastronomy. 3 meals per day at your hotel.
Day 13: Malaga - Canada
Breakfast. Transfer to Malaga international Airport for your return flight home.
